A trilingual redesign to showcase vehicles, simplify enquiries and support the day-to-day work of a used-car business.
The starting point
Auto LS, a used-car business in Aalst, wanted to renew its website while retaining its black and gold identity. The aim was to explain buying, selling and consignment services, make stock easy to browse on mobile and simplify contact.
The solution
I designed and implemented the redesign from the initial brief to publication. Cream backgrounds, dark typography and gold accents bring a brighter expression to the existing brand. Photographs of the forecourt and showroom anchor the presentation in the real location. The site is available in French, English and Dutch. A WordPress plugin provides stock information from public 2ememain pages, with updates reported every six hours. The forms prepare a WhatsApp message that visitors review and send themselves.
Approach & tools
The solution combines HTML, CSS and JavaScript with WordPress and PHP for stock. I also modernised an existing poster generator: importing a listing, checking information, translating with DeepL and exporting a bilingual A4 poster. AI assisted code, content and checks through iterations directed by me. The logo and photographs were pre-existing assets. I also worked on the website’s search engine optimisation (SEO).
The project in practice
Visitors browse the available vehicles, filter their search and prepare an enquiry through WhatsApp. For the team, the generator uses listing information to create a bilingual poster ready to print.
